K'ubdari, Mestia, September 2010

 Also known as the Svan meat pie, with beef, spices and onions inside a dough cover, put on the top of the oven first, then inside - YUM, especially from my wife's hands

  1. Wow, these look delicious lali! Is it a bread dough? The reason I wondered is that the word for bread in Arabic is Kubs (with a glotal pronunciation for the "k"). What is the meat recipe? I'd like to give that a go!

  2. Non-rising bread dough, or at least not much rising; meat can be pork, beef, chicken or lamb, as you like. I'll ask Lali for a more detailed recipe... Coming soon.
